A Gift to my FRIEND

-Enters the room silently before Iona gets back to leave her a gift on her night stand-



Inside the bouquet is a card that reads:

"Of all the flowers in this world, there are none as beautiful in mind, heart, body, and spirit as you. May these among this bouquet flourish in your presence inspired by the love you give that nurtures this entire family.

I love you Iona Brightside, as my best friend, partner, and companion. May today turn into a tomorrow that forever changes the mind of all your fears."

- fingers softly caress the velvet feel of the petals and a smile creeps over my face as a glow in my face is felt at the kind gesture you has left me. I hold the note in my fingers bringing it to my lips. Its been a long time since I got flowers. The fragrance fills the room as the univers seems to spin around me in this momment, I am left reading his words. -

- I look at him as he is seen standing in the door way, and a tear slowly enters the eye. I breath in deeply and whisper as I look to him. -

softly spoken are the words " I love you too Krysus "

-I rush into his arms, there to be lost in another momment that feels frozen in time-

liana wipe her tears from her eyes........as she see how happy her mother is finally now..................look outside her window and as is rain hard and thunder in her heart she looks with hope to the future.................she look back at what she once have and lost in a blink of a eye................"their is still hope" she say to herself.......leave the room in silent..........closing the door carefully................." love will find the way back to my heart someday, like it did with my mother"............

-feels her daughter leaving and does not say a word but keeps on watching and listening to the hearts of all as they shift and change with the passing of time-

One thing I do know and have learnt with all that life brings us is that no matter where your heart leads you too there is always one constant.

But much of the time, things are exactly as they seem and yet, some of us become too weak to be able to hold onto it under difficult circumstances. After all, we are only human, and no matter how long since we've let go, there is no end to how much we miss holding onto it, that incredibly special gift that nothing could ever replace.
